Hadith text
Narrated Abu Qilaba:Anas said, "Bilal was ordered to pronounce the wording of Adhan twice and of Iqama once only." The sub narrator Isma`il said, "I mentioned that to Aiyub and he added (to that), "Except Iqama (i.e. Qad-qamat-is-salat which should be said twice)
Abu Qilaba bataate hain ke Anas ne kaha: "Bilal ko Adhan ke alfaaz do-do baar aur Iqama ek-ek baar kehne ka hukum diya gaya." Rawi Ismail ne kaha: "Maine yeh Aiyub ko bataya, unhone joda: 'Siwaye Iqama ke (yaani Qad-qamat-is-salat do baar kahi jaati hai).'"
