Hadith text

Narrated Sulaiman Ash-Shaibani:I heard Ash-Shu`bi saying, "A person who was accompanying the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a grave that was separated from the other graves told me that the Prophet (ﷺ) once led the people in the (funeral) prayer and the people had aligned behind him. I said, "O Aba `Amr! Who told you about it?" He said, "Ibn `Abbas

Sulaiman Ash-Shaibani bataate hain: "Maine Ash-Shu'bi ko kehte suna: 'Nabi ke saath rehne wale ek shaks ne, jo ek qabar se guzra jo doosri qabron se alag thi, mujhe bataya ke ek baar Nabi ne (janaze ki) namaz ki imamat ki aur log unke peechhe safon mein khade hue.' Maine pucha: 'Aye Aba Amr! Aapko yeh kisne bataya?' Unhone kaha: 'Ibn Abbas.'"
