Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:`Umar bought a silk cloak from the market, took it to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Take it and adorn yourself with it during the `Id and when the delegations visit you." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "This dress is for those who have no share (in the Hereafter)." After a long period Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent to `Umar a cloak of silk brocade. `Umar came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) with the cloak and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! You said that this dress was for those who had no share (in the Hereafter); yet you have sent me this cloak." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him, "Sell it and fulfill your needs by it
Abdullah bin Umar (رضی اللہ عنہما) bataate hain ke Umar ne bazaar se resham ka ek chogha khareeda, use Allah ke Rasool ke paas le gaye aur kaha: "Ya Allah ke Rasool! Ise le lijiye aur Eid ke din aur jab wafdon se milein tab pehniye." Allah ke Rasool ne jawab diya: "Yeh libaas un logon ke liye hai jinka (Aakhirat mein) koi hissa nahi hai." Kaafi waqt baad, Allah ke Rasool ne Umar ke paas resham ke kaam wala ek chogha bheja. Umar ne woh chogha lekar Allah ke Rasool ke paas aakar kaha: "Ya Allah ke Rasool! Aapne kaha tha yeh libaas un logon ke liye hai jinka (Aakhirat mein) koi hissa nahi hai; magar aapne mujhe yeh chogha bheja hai." Allah ke Rasool ne kaha: "Ise becho aur apni zaroorat poori karo."
