Hadith text

Narrated `Abdullah bin Buraida:`Imran bin Husain had piles. Once Abu Ma mar narrated from `Imran bin Husain had said, "I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the prayer of a person while sitting. He said, 'It is better for one to pray standing; and whoever prays sitting gets half the reward of that who prays while standing; and whoever prays while Lying gets half the reward of that who prays while sitting

Abdullah bin Buraida bataate hain: Imran bin Husain ko bawaseer thi. Ek baar Abu Ma'mar ne Imran bin Husain se riwayat ki ke unhone kaha: "Maine Nabi se baithkar namaz padhne ke baare mein pucha. Aap ne farmaya: 'Khade hokar padhna behtar hai; jo baithkar padhe use khade wale se aadha sawaab milta hai; aur jo let kar padhe use baithkar padhne wale se aadha sawaab milta hai.'"
