Hadith text
Narrated Anas bin Malik Once the Prophet (ﷺ) entered the Mosque and saw a rope hanging in between its two pillars. He said, "What is this rope?" The people said, "This rope is for Zainab who, when she feels tired, holds it (to keep standing for the prayer.)" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Don't use it. Remove the rope. You should pray as long as you feel active, and when you get tired, sit down
Anas bin Malik (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Ek baar Nabi masjid mein daakhil hue aur dekha ek rassi do sutoon ke darmiyan latki hui hai. Aap ne pucha: "Yeh rassi kya hai?" Logon ne kaha: "Yeh Zainab ke liye hai, jab woh thak jaati hain to isse pakad kar (namaz mein) khade rehti hain." Nabi ne farmaya: "Ise mat istemal karo. Rassi hataa do. Jitni der tak taaza mehsoos karo namaz padho, aur jab thak jao to baith jao."
