Book 19: Prayer at Night (Tahajjud) · Hadith 32
Hadith text
Narrated 'Aisha: A woman from the tribe of Bani Asad was sitting with me and Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) came to my house and said, "Who is this?" I said, "(She is) So and so. She does not sleep at night because she is engaged in prayer." The Prophet (ﷺ) said disapprovingly: Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity as Allah never gets tired of giving rewards till you get tired of doing good deeds
Ayesha (رضی اللہ عنہا) bataati hain: Bani Asad qabile ki ek aurat mere paas baithi thi aur Allah ke Rasool mere ghar aaye aur pucha: "Yeh kaun hai?" Maine kaha: "Falaan hai. Yeh raat ko nahi soti kyunke ibadat mein masroof rehti hai." Nabi ne napasandidgi se kaha: "Utne hi amal karo jitni tumhari taaqat ho, kyunke Allah (sawaab dete-dete) kabhi nahi thakta jab tak tum khud (nek amal karte-karte) thak na jao."
