Book 21: Actions while Praying · Hadith 9
Hadith text
Narrated Anas bin Malik: While Abu Bakr was leading the people in the morning prayer on a Monday, the Prophet (ﷺ) came towards them suddenly having lifted the curtain of 'Aisha's house, and looked at them as they were standing in rows and smiled. Abu Bakr tried to come back thinking that Allah's Apostle wanted to come out for the prayer. The attention of the Muslims was diverted from the prayer because they were delighted to see the Prophet. The Prophet (ﷺ) waved his hand to them to complete their prayer, then he went back into the room and let down the curtain. The Prophet expired on that very day
Anas bin Malik (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Ek Somvar ke din jab Abu Bakr logon ki Fajr ki imamat kar rahe the, achanak Nabi Ayesha ke ghar ka parda uthaakar unki taraf aaye, unhe safon mein khade dekha aur muskuraye. Abu Bakr peeche hatna chahte the, yeh soch kar ke Allah ke Rasool namaz ke liye bahar aana chahte hain. Musalmanon ka dhyan namaz se hat gaya kyunke woh Nabi ko dekh kar khush the. Nabi ne unhe apni namaz mukammal karne ka ishara kiya, phir kamre mein wapas gaye aur parda gira diya. Usi din Nabi ka intiqal ho gaya.
