Hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهم ـ أَنَّ رَجُلاً، وَقَصَهُ بَعِيرُهُ، وَنَحْنُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهْوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ، وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ، وَلاَ تُمِسُّوهُ طِيبًا، وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّدًا ".
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:A man was killed by his camel while we were with the Prophet (ﷺ) and he was a Muhrim. So the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in two pieces of cloth and neither perfume him nor cover his head, for Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection and he will be saying 'Labbaik
Ibn Abbas (رضی اللہ عنہما) bataate hain: Ek shaks apne oont se gir kar mar gaya jabke hum Nabi ke saath the aur woh Muhrim (Ihram mein) tha. To Nabi ne farmaya: "Ise paani aur Sidr se dhoo lo aur do kapdon mein kafan do aur na khushbu lagao na sar dhako, kyunke Allah use Qiyamat ke din uthaega jabke woh 'Labbaik' keh raha hoga."
