Hadith text

Narrated Ibn `Umar:The Prophet (ﷺ) looked at the people of the well (the well in which the bodies of the pagans killed in the Battle of Badr were thrown) and said, "Have you found true what your Lord promised you?" Somebody said to him, "You are addressing dead people." He replied, "You do not hear better than they but they cannot reply

Ibn Umar (رضی اللہ عنہما) bataate hain: Nabi ne un logon ke kuye (jisme Badr ki jung mein maare gaye mushrikon ke jisme daale gaye the) walon ki taraf dekha aur farmaya: "Kya tumne paaya ke tumhare Rab ne jo waada tumse kiya woh sach tha?" Kisi ne unse kaha: "Aap murda logon se baat kar rahe hain." Aap ne jawab diya: "Tum unse zyada nahi sunte, magar woh jawab nahi de sakte."
