Book 24: Obligatory Charity Tax (Zakat) · Hadith 29
Hadith text
Narrated `Aisha:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When a woman gives in charity some of the foodstuff (which she has in her house) without spoiling it, she will receive the reward for what she has spent, and her husband will receive the reward because of his earning, and the storekeeper will also have a reward similar to it. The reward of one will not decrease the reward of the others
Ayesha (رضی اللہ عنہا) bataati hain: Allah ke Rasool ne farmaya: "Jab koi aurat khana (jo uske ghar mein ho) usse bigade bina sadqa deti hai, use uske diye hue ka ajr milega, aur uske shohar ko uski kamaai ka ajr milega, aur bhandaari (store-keeper) ko bhi utna hi ajr milega. Ek ka ajr doosre ka ajr kam nahi karega."
