Hadith text

Narrated `Uqba bin Al-Harith:Once the Prophet (ﷺ) offered the `Asr prayer and then hurriedly went to his house and returned immediately. I (or somebody else) asked him (as to what was the matter) and he said, "I left at home a piece of gold which was from the charity and I disliked to let it remain a night in my house, so I got it distributed

Uqba bin Al-Harith (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Ek baar Nabi ne Asr ki namaz padhi aur jaldi se apne ghar gaye aur foran wapas aaye. Maine (ya kisi aur ne) unse pucha (kya baat hai), Aap ne farmaya: "Main ghar mein sadqa ka ek tukda sona chhod aaya tha, aur mujhe pasand nahi tha ke woh raat bhar mere ghar mein rahe, isliye maine use taqseem karwa diya."
