Hadith text

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثِّمَارِ حَتَّى تُزْهِيَ، قَالَ حَتَّى تَحْمَارَّ‏.‏

Narrated Anas bin Malik:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade the selling of fruits until they were ripe. The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "It means that they become red

Anas bin Malik (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool ne phalon ki bikri se mana kiya jab tak woh pak (pake) na ho jaaye. Nabi ne joda: "Iska matlab hai jab tak woh laal na ho jaaye."
