Book 24: Obligatory Charity Tax (Zakat) · Hadith 101
Hadith text
Narrated Anas:Some people from `Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them, so Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) allowed them to go to the herd of camels (given as Zakat) and they drank their milk and urine (as medicine) but they killed the shepherd and drove away all the camels. So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent (men) in their pursuit to catch them, and they were brought, and he had their hands and feet cut, and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron and they were left in the Harra (a stony place at Medina) biting the stones. (See Hadith No. 234, Vol)
Anas (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Uraina qabile ke kuch log Madina aaye aur Madina ki aab-o-hawa unhe raast nahi aayi, isliye Allah ke Rasool ne unhe (Zakat mein aaye) oonton ke jhund ki taraf jane ki ijazat di aur unhone unka doodh aur peshab (dawa ke tor par) piya, magar unhone charwahe ko qatl kar diya aur sab oont hankaar le gaye. To Allah ke Rasool ne unhe pakadne ke liye (log) bheje, aur unhe pakad kar laaya gaya, aur unke haath-paon kaat diye gaye, aur unki aankhon mein garam loahe se daag diya gaya, aur unhe Al-Harra (Madina ki ek patharili jagah) mein chhod diya gaya jahan woh patthar chabate rahe.
