Hadith text

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) made Dhul-Hulaifa as the Miqat for the people of Medina; Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham; Qarn-al-Manazil for the people of Najd; and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen; and these Mawaqit are for the people at those very places, and besides them for those who come through those places with the intention of performing Hajj and `Umra; and whoever is living within these boundaries can assume Ihram from the place he starts, and the people of Mecca can assume Ihram from Mecca

Ibn Abbas (رضی اللہ عنہما) bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool ne Madina walon ke liye Dhul-Hulaifa, Sham walon ke liye Al-Juhfa, Najd walon ke liye Qarn-al-Manazil, aur Yemen walon ke liye Yalamlam ko Miqat muqarrar kiya, aur yeh Miqat un logon ke liye hain jo wahin rehte hain, aur unke ilawa un logon ke liye bhi jo un jagahon se guzarte huye Hajj-Umrah karne ka iraada rakhte hain; aur jo in seemaon ke andar rehta hai, woh jahan se chalna shuru kare wahin se Ihram baandh sakta hai, aur Mecca wale Mecca se hi Ihram baandhen.
