Hadith text

Narrated `Urwa:`Aisha said, "The first thing the Prophet (ﷺ) did on reaching Mecca, was the ablution and then he performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba and that was not `Umra (alone), (but Hajj-al-Qiran). `Urwa added: Later Abu Bakr and `Umar did the same in their Hajj." And I performed the Hajj with my father Az-Zubair, and the first thing he did was Tawaf of the Ka`ba. Later I saw the Muhajirin (Emigrants) and the Ansar doing the same. My mother (Asma') told me that she, her sister (`Aisha), Az-Zubair and such and such persons assumed Ihram for `Umra, and after they passed their hands over the Black Stone Corner (of the Ka`ba) they finished the Ihram. (i.e. After doing Tawaf of the Ka`ba and Sa`i between Safa-Marwa)

Urwa bataate hain: Ayesha ne kaha: "Mecca pahunchte hi sabse pehli cheez jo Nabi ne ki, woh wudu tha, phir unhone Ka'ba ka Tawaf kiya, aur yeh sirf Umrah nahi tha (balki Hajj-al-Qiran)." Urwa ne joda: "Baad mein Abu Bakr aur Umar ne bhi apne Hajj mein wahi kiya." "Aur maine apne waalid Az-Zubair ke saath Hajj kiya, aur unhone sabse pehle Ka'ba ka Tawaf kiya. Baad mein maine Muhajireen aur Ansaar ko bhi aisa hi karte dekha. Meri maa (Asma) ne mujhe bataya ke unhone, unki behn (Ayesha), Az-Zubair aur falaan-falaan logon ne Umrah ka Ihram baandha, aur jab unhone Hajr-e-Aswad ke kone par apne haath phere, unhone Ihram khatam kar diya." (yaani Ka'ba ka Tawaf aur Safa-Marwa ka Sa'i karne ke baad)
