حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، مَوْلَى الْمُطَّلِبِ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، مَوْلَى وَالِبَةَ الْكُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّهُ دَفَعَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَسَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَاءَهُ زَجْرًا شَدِيدًا وَضَرْبًا وَصَوْتًا لِلإِبِلِ فَأَشَارَ بِسَوْطِهِ إِلَيْهِمْ وَقَالَ " أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ، فَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ لَيْسَ بِالإِيضَاعِ ". أَوْضَعُوا أَسْرَعُوا. خِلاَلَكُمْ مِنَ التَّخَلُّلِ بَيْنَكُمْ، وَفَجَّرْنَا خِلاَلَهُمَا. بَيْنَهُمَا.
Narrated Ibn `Abbas.:I proceeded along with the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day of `Arafat (9th Dhul-Hijja). The Prophet (ﷺ) heard a great hue and cry and the beating of camels behind him. So he beckoned to the people with his lash, "O people! Be quiet. Hastening is not a sign of righteousness
Ibn Abbas (رضی اللہ عنہما) bataate hain: Main Arafat ke din Nabi ke saath tha. Nabi ne peechhe se bahut shor aur oonton ke maare jane ki awaaz suni. Isliye unhone apne chaabuk se logon ko ishara karke kaha: "Aye logon! Sukoon se raho. Jaldbaazi neki ki nishani nahi."
