Hadith text

Narrated `Abdur-Rahman bin Yazid:`Abdullah;- performed the Hajj and we reached Al-Muzdalifa at or about the time of the `Isha' prayer. He ordered a man to pronounce the Adhan and Iqama and then he offered the Maghrib prayer and offered two rak`at after it. Then he asked for his supper and took it, and then, I think, he ordered a man to pronounce the Adhan and Iqama (for the `Isha' prayer). (`Amr, a sub-narrator said: The intervening statement 'I think', was said by the sub-narrator Zuhair) (i.e. not by `Abdur-Rahman). Then `Abdullah offered two rak`at of `Isha' prayer. When the day dawned, `Abdullah said, "The Prophet never offered any prayer at this hour except this prayer at this time and at this place and on this day." `Abdullah added, "These two prayers are shifted from their actual times -- the Maghrib prayer (is offered) when the people reached Al-Muzdalifa and the Fajr (morning) prayer at the early dawn." `Abdullah added, "I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) doing that

Abdur-Rahman bin Yazid bataate hain: Abdullah;- ne Hajj kiya aur hum Isha ke waqt ya uske aas-paas Al-Muzdalifa pahunche. Unhone ek shaks ko Adhan-Iqama kehne ka hukum diya, phir Maghrib padhi, aur uske baad do rakat padhi. Phir unhone apna khaana maanga aur khaya, phir, mujhe lagta hai, unhone ek shaks ko Adhan-Iqama kehne ka hukum diya (Isha ke liye). (Amr, doosre raawi ne kaha: "'Mujhe lagta hai' yeh baat doosre raawi Zuhair ne kahi thi, Abdur-Rahman ne nahi.") Phir Abdullah ne Isha ki do rakat padhi. Jab din nikla, Abdullah ne kaha: "Nabi ne kabhi kisi namaz ko uske muqarrar waqt se hatkar nahi padha siwaye do baar; unhone Maghrib-Isha ek saath padhi, aur Fajr apne aam waqt se pehle padhi." Abdullah ne joda: "Yeh dono namazein apni asli waqt se hatai gayi hain — pehli: Maghrib, jab log Al-Muzdalifa pahunchte hain; aur doosri: Fajr namaz jo bahut savere padhi jaati hai." Abdullah ne joda: "Maine Nabi ko yehi karte dekha."
