Hadith text
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:When the Prophet (ﷺ) returned after performing his Hajj, he asked Um Sinan Al-Ansari, "What did forbid you to perform Hajj?" She replied, "Father of so-and-so (i.e. her husband) had two camels and he performed Hajj on one of them, and the second is used for the irrigation of our land." The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to her), "Perform `Umra in the month of Ramadan, (as it is equivalent to Hajj or Hajj with me (in reward)
Ibn Abbas (رضی اللہ عنہما) bataate hain: Jab Nabi apna Hajj mukammal karke wapas aaye, unhone Um Sinan Al-Ansariya se pucha: "Tumhe Hajj karne se kis cheez ne roka?" Usne jawab diya: "Falaan (yaani uske shohar) ke paas do oont the aur unhone ek par Hajj kiya, aur doosra humari zameen ki sinchai ke liye istemal hota hai." Nabi ne (usse) kaha: "Ramadan ke mahine mein Umrah karo, (kyunke yeh ajr mein) Hajj ke barabar hai, ya Hajj karne ke barabar hai mere saath."
