Hadith text

Narrated Anas:(The people of) Bani Salama intended to shift near the mosque (of the Prophet) but Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) disliked to see Medina vacated and said, "O the people of Bani Salama! Don't you think that you will be rewarded for your footsteps which you take towards the mosque?" So, they stayed at their old places

Anas (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: (Bani Salama ke log) masjid (Nabi ki masjid) ke qareeb shift hona chahte the, magar Allah ke Rasool ko Madina khaali dekhna napasand tha, isliye unhone kaha: "Aye Bani Salama ke log! Kya tumhe nahi lagta ke tumhe apne (masjid ki taraf) qadmon ka ajr milega?" To woh apni purani jagah par hi rahe.
