Hadith text
Narrated Hakim bin Hizam:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The seller and the buyer have the right to keep or return goods as long as they have not parted or till they part; and if both the parties spoke the truth and described the defects and qualities (of the goods), then they would be blessed in their transaction, and if they told lies or hid something, then the blessings of their transaction would be lost
Hakim bin Hizam (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool ne farmaya: "Bechne wale aur khareedne wale ko cheez rakhne ya wapas karne ka haqq hai jab tak woh alag na ho jaayen ya alag ho jaayen; aur agar donon party sach bolen aur (maal ke) aib aur khoobiyon ka zikar karen, to unki saudebaazi mein barkat hogi, aur agar woh jhoot bolein ya kuch chhupaen, to unki saudebaazi ki barkat khatam ho jayegi."
