Narrated Hakim bin Hizam:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Both the buyer and the seller have the option of canceling or confirming the bargain unless they separate." The sub-narrator, Hammam said, "I found this in my book: 'Both the buyer and the seller give the option of either confirming or canceling the bargain three times, and if they speak the truth and mention the defects, then their bargain will be blessed, and if they tell lies and conceal the defects, they might gain some financial gain but they will deprive their sale of (Allah's) blessings
Hakim bin Hizam (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Nabi ne farmaya: "Donon, khareedne aur bechne wale, ko saudebaazi radd ya poori karne ka ikhtiyaar hai jab tak woh alag na ho jaayen." Doosre raawi Hammam ne kaha: "Maine apni kitaab mein yeh paaya: 'Donon, khareedne aur bechne wale, ko teen baar saudebaazi radd ya poori karne ka ikhtiyaar hai, aur agar unhone sach bola aur aib bataye, to unki saudebaazi mein barkat hogi, aur agar unhone jhoot bola aur aib chhupaaayaa, to unhe kuch maali faida to milega magar woh apni bikri ki barkat se mehroom rahenge.'"
