Hadith text
Narrated Az-Zuhri from Malik bin Aus:That the latter said, "Who has change?" Talha said, "I (will have change) when our storekeeper comes from the forest." Malik bin Aus narrated from `Umar bin Al-Khattab: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The bartering of gold for gold is Riba (usury), except if it is from hand to hand and equal in amount, and wheat grain for wheat grain is usury except if it is from hand to hand and equal in amount, and dates for dates is usury except if it is from hand to hand and equal in amount, and barley for barley is usury except if it is from hand to hand and equal in amount
Az-Zuhri, Malik bin Aus ke hawale se: Unhone (Malik bin Aus ne) kaha: "Kiske paas chhote sikke (chhutta) hain?" Talha ne kaha: "Mere paas honge jab humara khazanchi jungle se aayega." Malik bin Aus ne Umar bin Khattab ke hawale se riwayat ki: Allah ke Rasool ne farmaya: "Sone ka sone se badal karna Riba (sood) hai, siwaye jab yeh haath se haath ho aur maqdaar barabar ho, aur gehun ka gehun se badal karna sood hai siwaye jab yeh haath se haath ho aur maqdaar barabar ho, aur khajoor ka khajoor se badal karna sood hai siwaye jab yeh haath se haath ho aur maqdaar barabar ho, aur jau ka jau se badal karna sood hai siwaye jab yeh haath se haath ho aur maqdaar barabar ho."
