Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:Once the Prophet (ﷺ) said (to me), "If the money of Bahrain comes, I will give you a certain amount of it." The Prophet (ﷺ) had breathed his last before the money of Bahrain arrived. When the money of Bahrain reached, Abu Bakr announced, "Whoever was promised by the Prophet (ﷺ) should come to us." I went to Abu Bakr and said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) promised me so and so." Abu Bakr gave me a handful of coins and when I counted them, they were five-hundred in number. Jabir bin Abdullah (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Ek baar Nabi ne (mujhse) kaha: "Agar Bahrain se paisa aa jaaye, main tumhe usme se ek khaas maqdaar dunga." Nabi ka intiqal ho gaya Bahrain ka paisa pahunchne se pehle. Jab Bahrain ka paisa pahuncha, Abu Bakr ne elaan kiya: "Jise bhi Nabi ne kuch waada kiya ho, hamare paas aaye." Main Abu Bakr ke paas gaya aur kaha: "Nabi ne mujhse falaan-falaan waada kiya tha." Abu Bakr ne mujhe ek muttthi bhar sikke diye aur jab maine gine, woh paanch sau nikle. Abu Bakr ne phir kaha: "(Iske ilawa) itna aur le lo jitna tumne liya hai."
