Hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي قَدْ وَهَبْتُ لَكَ مِنْ نَفْسِي. فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ زَوِّجْنِيهَا. قَالَ " قَدْ زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا بِمَا مَعَكَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ".
Narrated Sahl bin Sad: A woman came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I want to give up myself to you." A man said, "Marry her to me." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "We agree to marry her to you with what you know of the Qur'an by heart
Sahl bin Sa'd bataate hain: Ek aurat Allah ke Rasool ke paas aayi aur kaha: "Ya Allah ke Rasool! Main khud ko aapko sonpna chahti hoon." Ek shaks ne kaha: "Iski shaadi mujhse karwva dijiye." Nabi ne kaha: "Hum tumse iski shaadi is bunyaad par karte hain ke tum jo Quran hifz karte ho use isse sikhate raho."
