Hadith text
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:The Prophet (ﷺ) concluded a contract with the people of Khaibar to utilize the land on the condition that half the products of fruits or vegetation would be their share. The Prophet (ﷺ) used to give his wives one hundred Wasqs each, eighty Wasqs of dates and twenty Wasqs of barley. (When `Umar became the Caliph) he gave the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) the option of either having the land and water as their shares, or carrying on the previous practice. Some of them chose the land and some chose the Wasqs, and `Aisha chose the land
Abdullah bin Umar (رضی اللہ عنہما) bataate hain: Nabi ne Khaibar walon ke saath ek muahida kiya ke woh zameen istemal karenge is shart par ke phalon ya paidawaar ka aadha hissa unka hoga. Nabi apni har biwi ko sau Wasq dete the, assi Wasq khajoor ke aur bees Wasq jau ke. (Jab Umar khalifa bane) unhone Nabi ki biwiyon ko ikhtiyaar diya ke ya to woh zameen aur paani apna hissa rakhein, ya pehli riwaj jaari rakhein. Unme se kuch ne zameen chuni aur kuch ne Wasq, aur Ayesha ne zameen chuni.
