Hadith text
Narrated Ibn `Umar:`Umar expelled the Jews and the Christians from Hijaz. When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had conquered Khaibar, he wanted to expel the Jews from it as its land became the property of Allah, His Apostle, and the Muslims. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) intended to expel the Jews but they requested him to let them stay there on the condition that they would do the labor and get half of the fruits. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) told them, "We will let you stay on this condition, as long as we wish." So, they (i.e. Jews) kept on living there until `Umar forced them to go towards Taima' and Ariha
Ibn Umar (رضی اللہ عنہما) bataate hain: Umar ne Yahudi aur Isaiyon ko Hijaz se nikal diya. Jab Allah ke Rasool ne Khaibar fatah kiya, unhone Yahudiyon ko wahan se nikalna chaha chunke uski zameen Allah, uske Rasool aur Musalmanon ki milkiyat ban chuki thi. Allah ke Rasool Yahudiyon ko nikalna chahte the magar unhone Nabi se guzarish ki ke woh unhe wahan rehne de is shart par ke woh mehnat karenge aur phalon ka aadha hissa lenge. Allah ke Rasool ne unse kaha: "Hum tumhe is shart par yahan rehne denge jab tak hum chahen." Isliye woh (Yahudi) wahan rehte rahe jab tak Umar ne unhe Taima aur Ariha ki taraf jaane par majboor nahi kiya.
