Hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ تَمْنَعُوا فَضْلَ الْمَاءِ لِتَمْنَعُوا بِهِ فَضْلَ الْكَلإِ ".
Narrated Abu Huraira:that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do not withhold the superfluous water in order to withhold the superfluous grass
Abu Huraira (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool ne farmaya: "Faaltu paani na roko taake tum faaltu ghaas rok sako."
