Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:My father was martyred on the day (of the battle) of Uhud, and he was in debt. His creditors demanded their rights persistently. I went to the Prophet (and informed him about it). He told them to take the fruits of my garden and exempt my father from the debts but they refused to do so. So, the Prophet did not give them my garden and told me that he would come to me the next morning. He came to us early in the morning and wandered among the date-palms and invoked Allah to bless their fruits. I then plucked the dates and paid the creditors, and there remained some of the dates for us
Jabir bin Abdullah (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Mere waalid Uhud ki jung ke din shaheed hue aur unpar qarz tha. Unke qarz-daaon ne apna haqq sakhti se maanga. Main Nabi ke paas gaya (aur unhe iske baare mein bataya). Unhone unhe (qarz-daaon ko) mere baag ke phal lene aur mere waalid ko qarz se azaad karne ko kaha, magar unhone aisa karne se inkaar kiya. Isliye Nabi ne mera baag unhe nahi diya aur mujhe bataya ke woh agli subah mere paas aayenge. Woh savere aaye aur khajoor ke darakhton mein ghume aur unke phalon ke liye Allah se barkat maangi. Phir maine khajoor kati aur qarz-daaon ko ada kiya, aur kuch khajoor humare paas bhi bacha reh gayi.
