Sahih al-Bukhari 2412

Hadith text

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:While Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was sitting, a Jew came and said, "O Abul Qasim! One of your companions has slapped me on my face." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked who that was. He replied that he was one of the Ansar. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent for him, and on his arrival, he asked him whether he had beaten the Jew. He (replied in the affirmative and) said, "I heard him taking an oath in the market saying, 'By Him Who gave Moses superiority over all the human beings.' I said, 'O wicked man! (Has Allah given Moses superiority) even over Muhammad I became furious and slapped him over his face." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not give a prophet superiority over another, for on the Day of Resurrection all the people will fall unconscious and I will be the first to emerge from the earth, and will see Moses standing and holding one of the legs of the Throne. I will not know whether Moses has fallen unconscious or the first unconsciousness was sufficient for him

Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Jabke Allah ke Rasool baithe hue the, ek Yahudi aaya aur kaha: "Aye Abul Qasim! Aapke kisi sahabi ne mere mun par thappad maara hai." Nabi ne pucha kaun tha. Usne jawab diya ke woh Ansaar mein se tha. Nabi ne use bulwaya, aur uske aane par, unse pucha kya usne Yahudi ko maara tha. Usne (haan mein jawab diya aur) kaha: "Maine use bazaar mein qasam khate suna: 'Us zaat ki qasam jisne Musa ko sab insaanon par fazilat di.' Maine kaha: 'Aye zaalim shaks! (Kya Allah ne Musa ko fazilat di) Muhammad par bhi?' Mujhe gussa aaya aur maine uske mun par thappad maara." Nabi ne kaha: "Ek Nabi ko doosre par fazilat mat do, kyunke Qiyamat ke din sab log behosh ho jaayenge aur main sabse pehle zameen se niklunga, aur Musa ko khade dekhunga, Arsh ki ek taang pakde hue. Mujhe nahi pata Musa bhi behosh hue the ya pehli behoshi hi unke liye kaafi thi (Toor pahad par)."
