Hadith text
Narrated Um Salama:(the wife of the Prophet) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) heard some people quarreling at the door of his dwelling. He came out and said, "I am only a human being, and opponents come to me (to settle their problems); maybe someone amongst you can present his case more eloquently than the other, whereby I may consider him true and give a verdict in his favor. So, If I give the right of a Muslim to another by mistake, then it is really a portion of (Hell) Fire, he has the option to take or give up (before the Day of Resurrection)
Um Salama (رضی اللہ عنہا) (Nabi ki biwi) bataati hain: Allah ke Rasool ne kuch logon ko apne ghar ke darwaze par jhagdte suna. Aap bahar aaye aur kaha: "Main sirf ek insaan hoon, aur mere paas maamle suljhane ke liye do party aati hain; ho sakta hai unme se koi apna maamla doosre se zyada khoobsoorti se pesh kare, jisse main use sach samajh kar uske haqq mein faisla dun. Isliye agar main galti se kisi Musalman ka haqq doosre ko de dun, to yeh (Dozakh ki) aag ka ek hissa hai, jo woh chaahe le sakta hai ya (Qiyamat ke din) chhod sakta hai."
