حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّاسُ يَتَحَرَّوْنَ بِهَدَايَاهُمُ يَوْمِي. وَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ إِنَّ صَوَاحِبِي اجْتَمَعْنَ. فَذَكَرَتْ لَهُ، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا.
Narrated `Aisha:The people used to send gifts to the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day of my turn. Um Salama said: "My companions (the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) Other than Aisha) gathered and they complained about it. So I informed the Prophet about it on their behalf, but he remained silent
Ayesha (رضی اللہ عنہا) bataati hain: Log Nabi ki baari wale din unhe tohfe bhejte the. Um Salama ne kaha: "Meri sathiyon (Ayesha ke ilawa Nabi ki doosri biwiyan) ne ikattha hokar iski shikayat ki. Isliye maine unki taraf se Nabi ko iske baare mein bataya, magar woh khaamosh rahe."
