Sahih al-Bukhari 2605

Hadith text

Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:A drink (of milk and water) was brought to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) while a boy was sitting on his right side and old men were sitting on his left side. He asked the boy, "Will you allow me to give it to these (people)?" The boy said, "No, by Allah, I will not allow anyone to take my right from you." Then the Prophet put the bowl in the boy's hand

Sahl bin Sa'd (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool ke paas ek peene ki cheez (doodh-paani) laayi gayi jabke ek ladka unki dahini taraf baitha tha aur budhe log unki baayi taraf. Unhone ladke se pucha: "Kya tum mujhe ijazat doge ke main ise in (logon) ko de dun?" Ladke ne kaha: "Nahi, Allah ki qasam, main kisi ko bhi mera haqq aapse lene ki ijazat nahi dunga." Phir Nabi ne woh bartan ladke ke haath mein rakh diya.
