Hadith text
Narrated `Umar bin Al-Khattab:I gave a horse in Allah's Cause. The person to whom it was given, did not look after it. I intended to buy it from him, thinking that he would sell it cheap. When I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) he said, "Don't buy it, even if he gives it to you for one Dirham, as the person who takes back what he has given in charity, is like a dog that swallows back its vomit
Umar bin Khattab (رضی اللہ عنہ) bataate hain: Maine Allah ki raah mein ek ghoda diya. Jise woh diya gaya tha, usne uski dekhbhal nahi ki. Maine iraada kiya ke usse khareed lun, yeh sochkar ke woh use sasta bechega. Jab maine Nabi se pucha, unhone kaha: "Ise mat khareedo, chahe woh tumhe ek Dirham mein de de, kyunke jo shaks apna diya hua sadqa wapas leta hai, woh us kutte jaisa hai jo apni ulti khud nigal jaata hai."
