Hadith text

Narrated Aisha:The following Verse: If a woman fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part (i.e. the husband notices something unpleasant about his wife, such as old age or the like, and wants to divorce her, but she asks him to keep her and provide for her as he wishes). (4.128) "There is no blame on them if they reconcile on such basis

Ayesha (رضی اللہ عنہا) bataati hain, is Ayat ke baare mein: "Agar ek biwi apne shohar ki taraf se zulm ya be-parwahi ka khadsha rakhti hai" (4:128) (yaani shohar apni biwi mein koi napasandida baat notice kare, jaise budhaapa waghera, aur use talaq dena chahe, magar woh unse guzarish kare ke woh use rakhen aur jaisa woh chahen unki dekhbhal karte rahen). "Isme koi harj nahi agar woh is bunyaad par sulah kar len."
