Hadith text

Narrated Anas bin Malik:For thirty days Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) invoked Allah to curse those who had killed the companions of Bir- Mauna; he invoked evil upon the tribes of Ral, Dhakwan, and Usaiya who disobeyed Allah and His Apostle. There was revealed about those who were killed at Bir-Mauna a Qur'anic Verse we used to recite, but it was cancelled later on. The Verse was: "Inform our people that we have met our Lord. He is pleased with us and He has made us pleased

Anas bin Malik bataate hain: Teen din tak, Allah ke Rasool ne Allah se dua ki ke woh un logon par laanat bheje jinhone Bir-Mauna ke sahaba ko qatl kiya tha; unhone Ral, Dhakwan, aur Usaiya qabilon par bad-dua ki jinhone Allah aur uske Rasool ki na-farmani ki thi. Bir-Mauna mein shaheed hue logon ke baare mein ek Quranic Ayat nazil hui jise hum padhte the, magar baad mein woh mansookh ho gayi. Woh Ayat thi: "Humari qaum ko batao ke hum apne Rab se mil chuke hain, woh humse khush hai aur usne humein khush kiya hai."
