Hadith text
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Once Solomon, son of David said, '(By Allah) Tonight I will have sexual intercourse with one hundred (or ninety-nine) women each of whom will give birth to a knight who will fight in Allah's Cause.' On that, a companion (angel) said to him, "(Say) Allah willing", but he did not say, "Allah willing." Therefore only one of those women conceived and gave birth to a half-man. By Him in Whose Hands Muhammad's life is, if he had said, "Allah willing', (he would have begotten sons) all of whom would have been knights striving in Allah's Cause
Abu Huraira bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool ne farmaya: "Ek baar Sulaiman, Dawud ke bete, ne kaha, '(Allah ki qasam) Aaj raat main sau (ya ninyaanve) auraton ke saath humbistari karunga, aur unme se har ek ek ghudsawaar ko janam degi jo Allah ki raah mein jung karega.' Isspar ek saathi (farishte) ne unse kaha, '(Kaho) Insha Allah,' magar unhone 'Insha Allah' nahi kaha. Isliye unme se sirf ek aurat ne garbh dhaaran kiya aur ek adhoore mard ko janam diya. Us zaat ki qasam jiske haath mein Muhammad ki zindagi hai, agar unhone 'Insha Allah' kaha hota, (unke sab bete) ghudsawaar hote jo Allah ki raah mein koshish karte."
