Hadith text

Narrated Anas:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to the daughter of Milhan and reclined there (and slept) and then (woke up) smiling. She asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What makes you smile?" He replied, (I dreamt that) some people amongst my followers were sailing on the green sea in Allah's Cause, resembling kings on thrones." She said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Invoke Allah to make me one of them." He said, "O Allah! Let her be one of them." Then he (slept again and woke up and) smiled. She asked him the same question and he gave the same reply. She said, "Invoke Allah to make me one of them." He replied, ''You will be amongst the first group of them; you will not be amongst the last." Later on she married 'Ubada bin As-Samit and then she sailed on the sea with bint Qaraza, Mu'awiya's wife (for Jihad). On her return, she mounted her riding animal, which threw her down breaking her neck, and she died on falling down

Anas bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool Milhaan ki beti (Um Haram) ke paas gaye aur wahan leta gaye (aur soye), phir (uthkar) muskurate huye. Usne pucha, "Ya Allah ke Rasool! Aapko kis baat par muskurahat aayi?" Aap ne jawab diya, "(Maine khwab mein dekha ke) mere pairokaron mein se kuch log hare samundar mein Allah ki raah mein safar kar rahe the, jaise raajaon jaisi takhto par baithe hon." Usne kaha, "Ya Allah ke Rasool! Allah se dua kijiye ke woh mujhe unme se ek banaye." Aap ne kaha, "Aye Allah! Isse unme se ek bana." Phir Aap (dobara soye aur uthkar) muskurate. Usne wahi sawaal dohraaya aur unhone wahi jawab diya. Usne kaha, "Allah se dua kijiye ke woh mujhe unme se ek banaye." Aap ne jawab diya, "Tum unki pahli toli mein hogi; aakhri mein nahi." Baad mein usne Ubada bin As-Samit se shaadi ki aur phir samundar mein safar kiya bint Qaraza ke saath, Muawiya ki biwi (Jihad ke liye). Wapasi par, woh apne sawari ke janwar par sawar hui jisne use gira aur uski gardan tut gaee, aur woh girkar mar gayi.
