Hadith text
Narrated `Aisha:The Prophet (ﷺ) was vigilant one night and when he reached Medina, he said, "Would that a pious man from my companions guard me tonight!" Suddenly we heard the clatter of arms. He said, "Who is that? " He (The new comer) replied, " I am Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas and have come to guard you." So, the Prophet (ﷺ) slept (that night)
Ayesha bataati hain: Nabi ek raat saavdhaan (chaukanne) the aur jab woh Madina pahunche, unhone kaha, "Kaash mere sahaba mein se koi neik shaks aaj raat meri rakhwali kare!" Achanak humne hathiyaron ki khadkhadahat suni. Aap ne pucha, "Kaun hai?" Usne (naye aane wale ne) jawab diya, "Main Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas hoon aur aapki rakhwali karne aaya hoon." Isliye Nabi (us raat) so gaye.
