Hadith text
Narrated Jabir:as above (Hadith No. 158). Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: That he participated in a Ghazwa (Holy-Battle) in the company of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Midday came upon them while they were in a valley having many thorny trees. The people dispersed to rest in the shade of the trees. The Prophet (ﷺ) rested under a tree, hung his sword on it, and then slept. Then he woke up to find near to him, a man whose presence he had not noticed before. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "This (man) took my sword (out of its scabbard) and said, 'Who will save you from me.' I replied, 'Allah.' So, he put the sword back into its scabbard, and you see him sitting here." Anyhow, the Prophet (ﷺ) did not punish him. (See Hadith No)
Jabir bataate hain: (jaisa upar hai — Hadith No. 158). Jabir bin Abdullah bataate hain: Woh Allah ke Rasool ke saath ek Ghazwa mein shaamil the. Dopahar hui jabke woh ek waadi mein the jahan bahut se kaante darakht the. Log darakhton ke saaye mein aaram ke liye bikhar gaye. Nabi ek darakht ke neeche aaram karne gaye, uspar apni talwar taang di, phir soye. Phir woh jaage aur dekha unke qareeb ek shaks hai jiski maujoodgi unhone pehle mahsoos nahi ki thi. Nabi ne kaha, "Is (shaks) ne meri talwar (uske miaan se) nikali aur kaha, 'Kaun tumhe mujhse bachaega.' Maine jawab diya, 'Allah.' Isliye usne talwar wapas uske miaan mein rakh di, aur tum use yahan baite dekh rahe ho." Beshak, Nabi ne use saza nahi di.
