Hadith text

Abu Huraira bataate hain: Nabi ne farmaya: "Kanjoos aur sadqa dekar wale ki misaal do logon jaisi hai jinhone lohe ke choge pehne hue hain, itne tang ke unke haath zabardasti unke gale ki haddiyon ki taraf uthe hue hain. Isliye jab bhi sadqa dekar shaks sadqa dena chahta hai, uska choga uske jism par is tarah phailta hai ke uske nishaan tak mit jate hain, magar jab bhi kanjoos sadqa dena chahta hai, (lohe ke choge ki) kadiyan ek-doosre ke qareeb aa jati hain aur uske jism par dabaav daalti hain, aur uske haath uske gale ki haddiyon se judd jate hain." Abu Huraira ne Nabi ko kehte suna, "Kanjoos phir ise phailane ki koshish karta hai magar be-faida."
