Narrated `Aisha:We set out in the company of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) five days before the end of Dhul Qa'da intending to perform Hajj only. When we approached Mecca Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered those who did not have the Hadi (i.e. an animal for sacrifice) with them, to perform the Tawaf around the Ka`ba, and between Safa and Marwa and then finish their Ihram. Beef was brought to us on the day of Nahr (i.e. the days of slaughtering) and I asked, "What is this?" Somebody said, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) has slaughtered (a cow) on behalf of his wives
Ayesha bataati hain: Hum Allah ke Rasool ke saath Dhul Qa'da khatam hone se paanch din pehle nikle, sirf Hajj karne ki niyyat se. Jab hum Mecca ke qareeb pahunche, Allah ke Rasool ne un logon ko jinke paas Hadi (qurbani ka janwar) nahi tha, Ka'ba ka Tawaf karne aur Safa-Marwa ke beech saee karne aur phir apna Ihram khatam karne ka hukum diya. Nahr ke din (yaani zabah ke dinon) humare paas gaay ka gosht laaya gaya aur maine pucha, "Yeh kya hai?" Kisi ne kaha, Allah ke Rasool ne apni biwiyon ki taraf se (ek gaay) zabah ki hai.
