Hadith text
Narrated Yali:I participated in the Ghazwa of Tabuk along with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and I gave a young camel to be ridden in Jihad and that was, to me, one of my best deeds. Then I employed a laborer who quarrelled with another person. One of them bit the hand of the other and the latter drew his hand from the mouth of the former pulling out his front tooth. Then the former instituted a suit against the latter before the Prophet who rejected that suit saying, "Do you expect him to put out his hand for you to snap as a male camel snaps (vegetation)?
Ya'la bataate hain: Main Allah ke Rasool ke saath Ghazwa-e-Tabuk mein shaamil tha aur maine Jihad ke liye sawari ke liye ek jawan unt diya, aur yeh mere liye mere sabse behtareen amalon mein se ek tha. Phir maine ek mazdoor rakha jiska kisi doosre shaks se jhagda hua. Unme se ek ne doosre ka haath kaata aur doosre ne apna haath uske mun se khinch liya, jisse uski agli daant nikal gaee. Phir pahle wale ne doosre ke khilaf Nabi ke saamne daava daayar kiya, jinhone woh daava yeh kehte huye radd kar diya, "Kya tum ummeed karte ho ke woh apna haath tumhare liye phaila de taake tum use kaato jaise nar unt (paude-kapde) kaatta hai?"
