Book 56: Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad) · Hadith 186

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ، وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ، فَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ، فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with awe (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand." Abu Huraira added: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet (ﷺ) did not benefit by them

Abu Huraira bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool ne farmaya: "Mujhe sabse chhote alfaazon ke saath sabse gahre matlab lekar bheja gaya hai, aur mujhe dushman ke dilon mein khauf daalkar fatah di gayi hai, aur jab main so raha tha, duniya ke khazanon ki chaabiyaan mere paas laee gaee aur mere haath mein rakhi gaee." Abu Huraira ne joda: Allah ke Rasool duniya se chale gaye hain aur ab tum log un khazanon ko nikaal rahe ho (yaani Nabi ne khud unse koi faida nahi liya).
