Hadith text

Narrated Ibn Umar: (Later on) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (once again) went along with Ubai bin Ka'b to the garden of date-palms where Ibn Saiyad was staying. When the Prophet entered the garden, he started hiding himself behind the trunks of the date-palms as he wanted to hear something from Ibn Saiyad before the latter could see him. Ibn Saiyad was lying in his bed, covered with a velvet sheet from where his murmurs were heard. Ibn Saiyad's mother saw the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was hiding himself behind the trunks of the date-palms. She addressed Ibn Saiyad, "O Saf!" (And this was his name). Ibn Saiyad got up. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Had this woman let him to himself, he would have revealed the reality of his case." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) got up amongst the people, glorifying Allah as He deserves, he mentioned Ad-Dajjal, saying, "I warn you about him (i.e. Ad-Dajjal) and there is no prophet who did not warn his nation about him, and Noah warned his nation about him, but I tell you a statement which no prophet informed his nation of. You should understand that he is a one-eyed man and Allah is not one-eyed

Ibn Umar bataate hain: (Baad mein) Allah ke Rasool (ek baar phir) Ubai bin Ka'b ke saath khajoor ke baag mein gaye jahan Ibn Saiyad tha. Jab Nabi baag mein daakhil hue, woh khajoor ke tanon ke peeche chhupne lage kyunke woh Ibn Saiyad ko dekhne se pehle usse kuch sunna chahte the. Ibn Saiyad apne bistar par leta hua tha, ek malmal ki chadar se dhaka hua, jahan se uski budbudahat sunaee de rahi thi. Ibn Saiyad ki maa ne Nabi ko dekha jabke woh khajoor ke tanon ke peeche chhupe hue the. Usne Ibn Saiyad ko sambodhit kiya, "Aye Saf!" (yehi unka naam tha). Ibn Saiyad uth khada hua. Nabi ne kaha, "Agar us aurat ne use akela chhod diya hota, uski asaliyat saaf ho jaati." Phir Nabi logon ke beech khade hue, Allah ki jaisi hamd honi chahiye vaisi ki, unhone Dajjal ka zikar kiya, kehte huye, "Main tumhe uske (yaani Dajjal ke) baare mein chetaavni deta hoon, aur koi Nabi aisa nahi jisne apni ummat ko uske baare mein chetaavni na di ho, aur Nooh ne bhi apni ummat ko uske baare mein chetaavni di, magar main tumhe ek aisi baat batataa hoon jo kisi Nabi ne apni ummat ko nahi bataee. Tumhe samajhna chahiye ke woh ek aankh wala shaks hoga, aur Allah ek aankh wala nahi hai."
