Hadith text

Narrated Anas bin Malik:We were in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ) while returning from 'Usfan, and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was riding his she-camel keeping Safiya bint Huyay riding behind him. His she-camel slipped and both of them fell down. Abu Talha jumped from his camel and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! May Allah sacrifice me for you." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Take care of the lady." So, Abu Talha covered his face with a garment and went to Safiya and covered her with it, and then he set right the condition of their she-camel so that both of them rode, and we were encircling Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) like a cover. When we approached Medina, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "We are returning with repentance and worshipping and praising our Lord." He kept on saying this till he entered Medina

Anas bin Malik bataate hain: Hum Nabi ki sohbat mein the, Usfan se wapas ate huye, aur Allah ke Rasool apni untni par sawar the, Safiya bint Huyai unke peeche sawar thi. Unki untni phisal gayi aur donon gir gaye. Abu Talha apne unt se koodkar utre aur kaha, "Ya Allah ke Rasool! Allah mujhe aapke liye qurban kare." Nabi ne kaha, "Un khaatun ka khayaal rakho." Isliye Abu Talha ne apna chehra ek kapde se dhaka aur Safiya ke paas gaye aur unhe usse dhaka, phir unki untni ki haalat theek ki taake donon uspar sawar ho saken, aur hum Allah ke Rasool ko ek parde jaisi tarah gher lete the. Jab hum Madina ke qareeb pahunche, Nabi ne kaha, "Hum wapas aa rahe hain, tauba karte huye, ibadat karte huye, aur apne Rab ki hamd karte huye." Woh yeh kehte rahe jab tak Madina daakhil hue.
