Hadith text

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:When the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by (a place called) Al Hijr, he said, "Do not enter the houses of those who were unjust to themselves, unless (you enter) weeping, lest you should suffer the same punishment as was inflicted upon them." After that he covered his face with his sheet cloth while he was on the camel-saddle

Abdullah bin Umar bataate hain: Jab Nabi Al-Hijr se guzre, unhone kaha, "Un logon ke gharon mein daakhil mat ho jo apne aap par zulm kiye the, jab tak (tum) rote hue na daakhil ho, kahin tum bhi unhi jaisi saza na pao jo unpar aee." Iske baad unhone apna chehra apni chaadar se dhak liya jabke woh unt ki jin (saddle) par sawar the.
