Hadith text

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "One should not say that I am better than Jonah (i.e. Yunus) bin Matta." So, he mentioned his father Matta. The Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned the night of his Ascension and said, "The prophet Moses was brown, a tall person as if from the people of the tribe of Shanu'a. Jesus was a curly-haired man of moderate height." He also mentioned Malik, the gate-keeper of the (Hell) Fire, and Ad-Dajjal

Ibn Abbas bataate hain: Nabi ne kaha, "Kisi ko yeh nahi kehna chahiye ke main Yunus bin Matta se behtar hoon." Isliye unhone unke waalid Matta ka naam liya. Nabi ne apni aasman ki chadhaee ki raat ka zikar kiya aur kaha, "Nabi Musa bhure rang wale, lambe shaks the, mano woh Shanua qabile ke logon mein se hon. Isa ghungrale baal wale, madhyam kad ke shaks the." Unhone Malik ka bhi zikar kiya, Dozakh ka darbaan, aur Dajjal ka bhi.
