Sahih al-Bukhari 3405

Hadith text

Narrated `Abdullah:Once the Prophet (ﷺ) distributed something (among his followers. A man said, "This distribution has not been done (with justice) seeking Allah's Countenance." I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and told him (of that). He became so angry that I saw the signs of anger on his face. Then he said, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on Moses, for he was harmed more (in a worse manner) than this; yet he endured patiently

Abdullah bataate hain: Ek baar Nabi ne (apne pairokaron ke beech) kuch cheez taqseem ki. Ek shaks ne kaha, "Yeh taqseem Allah ki khushi ke lakshya se nahi ki gaee." Main Nabi ke paas gaya aur unhe iske baare mein bataya. Woh itna naraaj hue ke maine unke chehre par gusse ke asaraat dekhe. Phir unhone kaha, "Allah Musa par apni rehmat naazil kare, kyunke unhe issse bhi zyada takleef di gaee; phir bhi unhone sabr rakha."
