Hadith text
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Solomon (the son of) David said, 'Tonight I will sleep with seventy ladies each of whom will conceive a child who will be a knight fighting for "Allah's Cause.' His companion said, 'If Allah will.' But Solomon did not say so; therefore none of those women got pregnant except one who gave birth to a half child." The Prophet (ﷺ) further said, "If the Prophet Solomon (ﷺ) had said it (i.e. 'If Allah will') he would have begotten children who would have fought in Allah's Cause." Shuaib and Ibn Abi Az-Zinad said, "Ninety (women) is more correct (than seventy)
Abu Huraira bataate hain: Nabi ne kaha, "Sulaiman, Dawood ke bete ne kaha, 'Aaj raat main sattar aurton ke saath hambister hounga, aur har ek unme se ek bacha janm degi jo Allah ki raah mein jung karega.' Unke saathi ne kaha, 'Agar Allah chaahe.' Magar Sulaiman ne yeh nahi kaha; isliye un aurton mein se ek ke siwa koi bhi garbhvati nahi hui, aur usne ek adhoore bachche ko janm diya." Nabi ne aage kaha, "Agar Nabi Sulaiman ne yeh kaha hota ('Agar Allah chahe'), unke bachche Allah ki raah mein jung karte." Shuaib aur Ibn Abi Az-Zinad ne kaha, "'Nabbe' (yaani 90) zyada sahi hai (sattar ke bajaye)."
