Sahih al-Bukhari 3466

Hadith text

Narrated Abu Huraira:That he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "While a lady was nursing her child, a rider passed by and she said, 'O Allah! Don't let my child die till he becomes like this (rider).' The child said, 'O Allah! Don't make me like him,' and then returned to her breast (sucking it). (After a while) they passed by a lady who was being pulled and teased (by the people). The child's mother said, 'O Allah! Do not make my child like her.' The child said, 'O Allah! Make me like her.' Then he said, 'As for the rider, he is an infidel, while the lady is accused of illegal sexual intercourse (falsely) and she says: Allah is sufficient for me (He knows the truth)

Abu Huraira bataate hain: Unhone Allah ke Rasool ko kehte suna, "Jabke ek aurat apne bachche ko doodh pila rahi thi, ek ghudsawaar guzra aur usne kaha, 'Aye Allah! Mere bachche ko tab tak mat maar jab tak yeh iske (ghudsawaar ke) jaisa na ban jaaye.' Bachche ne kaha, 'Aye Allah! Mujhe unke jaisa mat bana,' aur phir doodh peena shuru kiya (dobara). (Thoda der baad) woh ek aurat ke paas se guzre jise (log) khinch rahe the aur pareshaan kar rahe the. Bachche ki maa ne kaha, 'Aye Allah! Mere bachche ko is (aurat) jaisa mat bana.' Bachche ne kaha, 'Aye Allah! Mujhe uske jaisa bana.' Phir usne kaha, 'Ghudsawaar ek kaafir tha, jabke aurat par (jhuta) zina ka ilzaam laga hai aur woh kahti hai: Allah mere liye kaafi hai (woh sach jaanta hai).'"
